About Alinea Editorial

Welcome!

My name is Linda, and I’m the owner of Alinea Editorial. As a copy editor and proofreader, I love to help my clients get one step closer to publication.

My background is in social science and education. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland. I then pursued master’s and educational specialist degrees in school psychology at the College of William & Mary. For eight years, I worked as a school psychologist in public education.

I became interested in editing and writing through my graduate work and early career as school psychologist. To build on my skills, I obtained a certificate in editing from the University of Washington. Over the years, I have written, contributed to, and/or edited research briefs, policy manuals, presentations, newsletters, articles, magazines, websites, and graduate-level manuscripts.
